Minneapolis, Minnesota - Protesters in Minneapolis on Tuesday celebrated the murder conviction of Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd. Chauvin was found guilty of all three charges against him: second-degree murder, third-degree murder, and manslaughter.

The verdict was met with cheers and applause from the crowd gathered outside the Hennepin County Courthouse. Some protesters held signs that read "Justice for George Floyd" and "Black Lives Matter." Others danced and sang in the street.

The conviction is a major victory for the Black Lives Matter movement and a step towards justice for Floyd's family. It is also a sign that the country is slowly beginning to address the issue of police brutality against Black people.

However, the work is not over. There are still many other cases of police brutality that need to be addressed. And there is still a long way to go to achieve racial justice in the United States.

But Tuesday's verdict is a sign of hope. It shows that progress is possible and that the fight for justice will continue.
